Soft Continuum 2

Images feel like the digital equivalent of physical objects — finished, tangible, fixed. An image is grounded. Code-based animation is the opposite: fluid, ephemeral, impossible to capture in any conventional sense.

Soft Continuum explores the point where these two meet and amplify each other. Under the influence of code, the image comes alive — its colors shift, its surface breathes. Moving light, born from an algorithm, finds weight and form by using the image as its texture.

Matter and form. Stillness and flow.

Each artwork has a second layer running simultaneously, that switches automatically every 20 mins, also can be switched manually by pressing left/right.
